2004 was an exciting year in which Adele enjoyed visiting with John, Meg & Toby and skiing in Colorado for two months while Herman set up our accommodations and started working in the lab in Leuven, Belgium.  We then lived in Leuven until September.  With Leuven as a home base we traveled all over Europe in Lieven's trusty Orange Bomber.  In the fall of 2004, we moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts, where Herman enjoyed the second year of his sabbatical at Harvard.   Meanwhile, the Willful remained on the hard in Beaufort, North Carolina.
